From Dan & Miranda:
Since we were married in 2013, our goal for our family has always been that we would glorify the Lord together. We lived and served for three years in Malawi, while doubling our family to include our daughter Norah and our son Ezra. During our time in Malawi, the Lord solidified in us a passion and calling to quality Christian education and building strong community through mentoring and discipleship. We are excited that the Lord is now leading us to Kijabe, Kenya to serve at Rift Valley Academy.
Rift Valley Academy (RVA) has been providing education to missionary kids in Africa since 1906. For many missionary families serving in remote parts of Africa, Rift Valley has provided a way for their children to still receive a quality education without needing to leave their ministry. We will be serving here through Africa Inland Mission (AIM). AIM’s focus is ‘Christ Centered Churches Among all African Peoples with a priority for the unreached’. Rift Valley Academy provides a framework of education that furthers this mission and the spread of the gospel around Africa.
We are excited to serve at RVA because we see the fruit that emerges when students are immersed in a Christ-centered environment and challenged both educationally and spiritually. We believe that we will be equipping the next generation of missionaries and look forward to building relationships and enabling the work of so many missionary families to continue across Africa.
